Improved Error Messaging On the Settings Screens
Player setting screens now display clearer, more descriptive error messages so you can quickly understand and resolve configuration or connectivity issues.‍

Remove all fallback code tied to the MGS
Legacy fallback behavior that tried to communicate over obsolete port 725 has been removed, so registration now reliably uses only standard secure ports that are more compatible with customer firewalls.

OnDemand Streaming‍
Video‑on‑demand content now streams by default instead of downloading, reducing storage usage on players and speeding up initial setup while still allowing downloads when explicitly configured.

Support LG UH5Q with WebOS 8.0
MediaSignage Player is now certified on LG UH5Q displays running webOS 8.0, adding another fully supported smart display option to the portfolio.‍

Amazon FireOS Devices Supported
MediaSignage Player is now certified and supported on key Amazon Fire TV and Amazon Signage Stick devices, expanding your options for low-cost, off-the-shelf hardware.
